Jakosta is an engineering office that has been carrying out building construction projects for over 20 years. Our activities focus on steel structures designing for the broadly defined heavy industry, the automotive sector and bridge superstructures.
Jakosta was founded in 2002. In a short period of time we gained a foothold by acquiring several regular clients in the mining and energy sectors. Since 2006, we have been designing almost exclusively using BIM technology. The combination of state-of-the-art design techniques with advanced engineering expertise, along with a high quality of service has enabled us to win numerous contracts in the following years on major energy projects both domestically and internationally.
In the previous decade, it became clear that investments in the traditional energy industry were becoming a thing of the past. In the interests of continuous development and continuing our experience in heavy industry, we turned our attention to the steel, chemical and shipbuilding industries and, above all, to bridge structures. We have also won a number of contracts in new automotive developments.
In 2019, the company was converted into a limited partnership. Three Jakosta team members have become partners in the firm, having made a significant contribution to its growth.
Our team is made up of around 60 people. The core is made up of civil engineers – designers, project managers, constructors – supported by BIM specialists, developers and an administrative department. How and where do we work? Have a look at the photo slide below.
